WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican Governors Association (RGA) released the following response to failed candidate Cinde Warmington launching a gubernatorial campaign in New Hampshire:

“Cinde Warmington’s only record is a career spent lobbying for the industry that fueled an epidemic and promoting a Leftist agenda that would take New Hampshire backward. Granite Staters will be reminded who Cinde Warmington really is, and the fact that an already failed candidate is all New Hampshire Democrats could come up with speaks to their desperation,” said RGA Communications Director Courtney Alexander.

Warmington’s Record:

Cinde Warmington worked as a lobbyist for Purdue Pharma – the company that fueled the opioid crisis – and she defended Oxycontin as a “miracle drug” with “very few side effects.”

Warmington represented a pain clinic network that was described as the heart of the state’s opioid crisis and helped fund Warmington’s political career.

While Governor Kelly Ayotte kept her campaign promise and banned sanctuary policies in New Hampshire, Warmington would have allowed cities in the state to act as sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants.

Warmington wanted to phase out home heating oil and gas cars in the next 15 years, which would have raised the costs to heat a home, buy a car, or drive to work.

Warmington opposes school choice and has pledged to end New Hampshire’s popular Education Freedom Account program, which would effectively kick kids out of their schools and restrict families with a limited income from accessing educational opportunities.
